Funguary Art Challange - Week One (2023)

Back in February of 2023, I participated in Feeflas Funguary art challenge. This was my first 30-day art challenge so I wasn't sure how it would go but I wanted to test myself and my art. I'm incredibly impressed that I managed to finish it all and thought I'd share some of my favourites over here (you can see the whole challenge over on my Instagram @ghost.fbx). I used this challenge as a way to dive head first into 2D art to help strengthen my fundamentals for my 3D creations and it definitely helped, I learnt so much about myself and my art throughout this process and I will definitely do another one of these challenges again!

Funguary Day Five - Hairy Mycena. (This one reminded me so much of dandelions I just HAD to do a hybrid of the two)

Funguary Day Three - Magpie Inkcap. (This mushroom reminded me of the magpies that always used to hang around my veggie garden back home)

Funguary Day Six - Pixie Parasol (For this one I decided to try and go with a swampier drowned look rather than a pixie itself)

Funguary Day Four - cornflower bolete (I wanted to use a creative way to show this mushrooms colour changing tricks (Inspired by feefals invisible clothes art)
