Funguary Art Challange - Week Three (2023)

Week three is full of a lot of favourites. To keep it interesting each week I tried a new style and in week three I leaned heavily into horror, which just so happens to be one of my favourite genres. So I had a great time experimenting here pulling inspiration from some of my favourite horror artists including Gris Grimly and Junjio Ito.

Day 15 - Bleeding Fairy Helmet - inspired by the Saw movie famous head trap

Day 19 - Earthstar (this reminded me of a jester collar which led me to a circus theme)

Day 21 - tetrapyrgos (which had an interesting black-to-white stem gradient that I wanted to capture)

Day 16 - Poisonous Ivory funnel (using the poisonous element I went for half melted off skin, like an acid effect)
